Fella, a bumbling, good-natured schnook, lives in an exclusive Bel Aire mansion with his wicked stepmother and two scheming stepbrothers, Maximillian and Rupert. They keep Fella around to do all household chores, and because he knows where his late father's loot is hidden. One day a Fairy Godfather appears (Ed Wynn) to have Fella help settle an ancient score. The head Godfathers have chosen him to marry the charming visiting Princess in order to show the women of the world that they can be happy with just an ordinary, not-so-good looking guy. The Fairy Godfather uses some magic to get Fella to the ball to meet the Princess and, of course, they fall in love and live happily ever after. With outrageous comedy and beautiful musical numbers and score. CINDERFELLA is fabulous fun.
