"At War With the Army"

At War With the Army The film is set during World War II, and depicts Dean and Jerry as former nightclub performers who are now one rank apart in the Army. Sgt. Puccinelli (Dean) desperately attempts to get transferred from his boring desk job to active duty overseas, while Pfc. Korwin (Jerry) merely wants a three day pass to see his wife and new baby, and escape the wrath of the nasty Sergeant McVey (Mike Kellin). This was the first starring vehicle for Martin and Lewis, and one of Jerry's funniest screen appearances in drag.
