| Movie star Carla Naples (Marilyn Maxwell) has triplets, but does not want her beloved public to find out. The only person she can trust is her childhood sweetheart Clayton Poole (Jerry). In what must be one of Jerry’s finest solo efforts, there is a brilliant balance between slapstick comedy, heart warming tenderness, danger, drama, mystery and romance. Director Frank Tashlin and Jerry combine forces to create a film that is funny for all ages, and meaningful at the same time. The song "Dormi-Dormi-Dormi" performed by Jerry and Salvatore Baccalone as a duet, is one of the most beautiful and touching pieces of music in any film ever produced. This film was not only the debut for a beautiful young actress, Connie Stevens, but also Jerry’s son Gary (of Gary Lewis and the Playboys fame) as the young Clayton Poole. This film ranks as one of Jerry’s greatest achievements as a producer. |
