Vinnie Terranova does time in New Jersey penitentiary to set up undercover role as agent for the OCB (Organized Crime Bureau). His roots in a traditional Italian city neighborhood form plot base, bringing him in conflict with his conservative mother and other family members while acting undercover as syndicate enforcer. Jerry Lewis, as Eli Sternberg, won raves from critics for his dramatic performance in a five part episode of this series, from December 1988-January 1989.
